Poached apple with apricot jam 100 g

A typical product from the province of Trento reinterpreted by Graziadei to offer a breakfast snack in which fruit is the protagonist. It is called the “poached” Apple because the particular closure is meant to resemble the folding of a shirt collar. Made of crispy mélange puff pastry-covered with crystal sugar-encloses the unprecedented combination of Fuji apple and 50 percent apricot jam for a fruit concentrate with a fresh sweet and natural flavor. The 100 g size when raw (which becomes ca. 90 g after baking) makes it a viable alternative to classic apricot croissants for breakfast, but also a viable dessert when cut, plated and accompanied by ice cream or cream. Packaged in a convenient carton of 20 pieces each make it a product easily used by even the smallest businesses.
